Growth Hacking is not just a buzzword at the moment.
I truly believe that it is a way of life.
All interactions that you have with people online/offline should grow them.
For all of us, our main is to use our energy for creating things that help other people.
We have our talents & gifts for the sake of helping others.
In this article, I will give you some tools, & ideas so you can become a killer growth hacker.
Remember to steal what you think is valuable to you & feel free to throw the rest away.

Social Growth Hacking

Becoming a killer social growth hacker you need the best tools at your hand.
Here are some of the tools that I've had a great experience with growing my online audience:

1. Social Quant

This tool will help you to grow followers fast on Twitter, also when you are sleeping.
You feed it with a list of 25-30 keywords of your interest & Social Quant will do the rest for you.
Engagement, retweets, likes, & mentions will start to rise & it is the same for your tweet stats.

My tip for you is to ride the wave and be authentic with your new followers.
Help them when possible & don't be afraid of delivering some bold statements.
After all, you are a human being.
Your voice & your opinion matter.
Don't just be an echo!

2. Crowdfire

When you see a rising number of followers, you will most naturally see a rise in people you want to follow.
After you have around 400 followers, it is important for you to follow +/- 100 people.
With those numbers, it's getting harder to keep track of your audience.

Don't follow those that don't follow you back.
Crowdfire helps you to get an overview of your account & optimize it in various ways.
It's even great fun because the application is very creative & the design is amazing.

3. commun.it

Similar to Crowdfire this is an overview tool. But it is also an engagement tool!
It helps you keep track of people, who mentioned, re-tweeted & followed you, by coming up with suggestions of ways you can interact with them & show them that you are thankful for their actions.

4. CoShedule

This is a MUST-HAVE tool for any blogger & writer.
It helps you writing catchy headlines!
The headline score of this article: A+ 87/100! See if you can beat it, with a killer growth hack headline for your own article.
Have fun!

5. Buffer

Without this tool, my life would be way harder keeping up with 4+ social media accounts.
It lets you query posts for when your audience is online.
While I am writing this article, buffer helps me getting value content out there for my audience to read.
It can also save you a great headache, so you are able to focus, on other tasks at hand. Check it out!

6. Statusbrew

Another management tool for keeping up with your audience & their activity, in which will boost your engagement with them.
The tool also provides you with a quality follow/follow-back ratio so that you keep your stream optimized with topics of your interest.

7. Onpage.org

Last but not least, a fantastic SEO tool.
I've never really liked SEO, it was kind of boring and not something that could keep me up in the middle of the night like Graphic Design could.
But after installing the Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress & using the Onpage.org website, it has been a walk in the park.
Try it out yourself!

Social Content Hacker

Now that I have presented you to, 6 Social Media tools & 1 SEO tool, the next step is to make you the greatest social growth hacker in the universe.
This is not an easy task, but I will do my very best!
According to Wikipedia, growth hacking is a marketing technique that makes use of good creativity, analytical thinking & social metrics to sell products and gain brand exposure.
According to Content Marketing Institute, content marketing is a strategic marketing approach that focuses on creating & distributing valuable information consistently.
The content pieces attract and keep target audiences of a business & the main goal is to drive your customers to take action.
As you probably know the topic above is a really popular trend in the digital industry at the moment.

The main goal of content hacking is the technique of applying growth hacks, to get more shares, brand awareness and conversions from your content pieces.
The tactic makes use of the target audience’s data to create relevant, contextual and highly personalized strategies, to stimulate action towards your business’s end goal.

Your Way

Navigating the digital growth hacking sphere is very overwhelming at first.
There are so many tools available & so many opportunities for growing your business.
As I see it there are two ways of approaching the challenges you may face while growing your online presence.

1. Planning & strategic approach.
- This approach calls for setting up doable tasks & measuring analytical facts to archive your goals.

2. Trial & error.
- Go with your gut feeling.
Try - Error - Correct.
Repeat until you have developed your own method.
This is the hardest method, but also the most creative one in my opinion.

For both approaches be sure you are visual in the way you communicate with your audience & most of all it is very important that you are providing value & are having fun doing it!

Your turn!
What makes up for a great social growth hacker?
